• Hurricane Ella

  Today is Monday. A work day. The first of five this week. As usual, when I get home, I’m greeted by my girls, my wife Tracee, my older daughter Grace, and my younger daughter Ella. • Rummage sales and lunch with the girls

  We had a pretty busy day today. The weather was pretty decent and tomorrow is supposed to be cold and might rain so I decided to take the girls to some rummage sales. This is one of our favorite things to do – you know what they say about one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

• Lazy Sunday

  It seems as if, now that the girls are older we are busy all the time.  Today we didn’t do much.
  I made Overnight Caramel French Toast (you can view the recipe at my blog Recipease).  This has been a family favorite of ours for quite some time and is really easy.  I love the fact that you can make it the night before and then just pop it in the oven the following morning.

• Saturday at the Farmer’s Market

  One of the things I love most about summer is going to the Farmer’s Market. Now that we live in the Fox Valley it is so much better. The only thing I like better about the Manitowoc Farmer’s Market is that it is right on Lake Michigan which I do miss.
  Appleton has the second largest Farmer’s Market in the state, the only one that is bigger is the one in Madison. It has vendors with food, crafts, condiments, you name it. [...]

• Grace’s First Lost Tooth

   
  Well, another day of firsts in the Gleichner house. My daughter Grace’s first tooth finally came out today. Actually, Grace’s mom gets the assist on the play as the tooth was more than loose enough to come out, it just needed that gentle tug to finish the job.

• A brand new website

  I have been bugging my hubby to come up with names for this new website.  It took a little while, but it really isn’t his fault.  I am constantly after him to think of names for this and that.  So, here it is – our new website!
